Ive got 3 pairs of vintage converse from a fan - all from the 80s and made in the US - and I brought my 1-2 year old pair of low-top converse as well. I trample the slave wearing all 4 pairs one after another. I commence with the bright orange high-tops, followed by the crimson mid-tops and the beige mid-tops. For the finish I use my crimson low-tops. I have to say you notice the better quality of the original us-made converse - albeit the newer ones are also very comfortable to wear for trampling - if it makes a difference for the slave?!
